A couple of times you think of savinh your UCS and its settings for future references. This you can do easily using UCS command as no other options are available there in the coordinates panel.
Naming and Saving UCS :
Whenever you want to save a new UCS with a defined name you can use UCS command to do so. First of all, you need to configure the settings of your UCS you want to save a UCS. Then use UCS command:
1. Selct the NAmed option from the command.
2. The prompt will ask you to enter an option. Select Save option from the available options.
3. Then it will prompt you to enter the name of the UCS. That's it!
Deleting and Restoring a UCS :
Deleting UCS :
If you want to delete a saved UCS, again you can make use of UCS command.
1. Select the Delete option from the command followed after you select the NAmed option from the first prompt.
2. The command prompt will ask you the name of the UCS to delete. Enter the name of the UCS and then Press ENTER key(not space bar).
3. If you do not know the name of the UCS, then you can have he lists of all the Saved UCS by entering ? at the prompt.
Restoring UCS :
If you want to restore a previously saved UCS, then use Restore option at the command prompt followed after you selected NAmed option from the first prompt. It will ask you the name of the UCS or else you can have the lists of Saved UCS.
